LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This is right across the street from manufaktura, one of the highlights of Lodz. All the stores and restaurants you could possibly need. Awesome, well lit unit with modern new appliances: a/c & radiator heat, washer. We were there for 3 weeks and I would definitely go back and stay there again. Very safe, as is Poland in general. Parking spot.
The shower was a little problematic. The drain really needs to be cleaned at least once a week, probably more if you have long hair. My husband figured that out after the shower flooded within 2 minutes of use, around day 4. We used several towels to clean it up, with the washer to clean them, it was not a huge problem, just something people should be aware of. But cleaners should be made aware of this, as they should clean under the drainage area after each guest leaves. And if you're staying over 5 days, know you will need to tend to this.
