Duplex Flat with Terrace & AC near Oxford Street-GSP

Air conditioner was noisy. Mattress needs replacing

J'ai beaucoup aimé la localisation, c'était parfait très beau quartier et à proximité de tout. Beaucoup de restaurants sur la rue de très bonne qualité.

L'appartement n'a pas l'air beaucoup entretenue, beaucoup de tâches sur les murs, une des salles de bain sens l'humidité et des traces de moisi dans beaucoup de douches. Ce fut un appartement de luxe mais tout tombe en ruine car ce n'est pas entretenu adéquatement. Un 3ieme étage avec 54 marches pas idéal avec des valises. On donne peu de serviettes et elle sente l'humidité. l'Air climatisé à été remplacé par des petites unités, mieux que rien mais vraiment pas l'idéal.

The location was great. Near by various tube stations and supermarket round the corner. It was nice to have an apartment with 3 rooms rather than 3 hotel rooms and give us somewhere to eat breakfast together. Plenty of space. Considering we were in central London, I didn’t hear much noise at night from the bedroom with the terrace.

Lack of toilet paper and toiletries, even though I had checked the day before they were included. The building managers did bring some the next day though so we didn’t have to go out and buy. The terrace could have done with a little seating set, it’s advertised as having a terrace but it just has a ladder and an airer on it. It was very very warm in the apartment when we arrived, it had been a heat wave which can’t be helped but it would have been nice to leave the air con on in this circumstance to help cool the whole place down. Upstairs the built in AC wasn’t working so the rooms had portable machine, downstairs it was just a fan and that wasn’t sufficient to cool the room. It was hard to sleep well in that heat. The second day we left the downstairs built in AC on and it helped to cool the whole building so we could sleep better the next night. No availability to drop of luggage earlier, there is a lot of space to leave the bags in one spot and come back later, if you did it after the checkout time when the previous guests have gone. Add extra on to the cost of the stay as you have to pay to store bags before and after.

A spacious 3 bedroom appartment in great location in Central London, close to Oxford Circus and shops, good bus routes and tube stations

The lighting in some of the rooms and living area were not adequate, too dim. The front entrance lobby on the ground floor was messy. The fact that the apartment was 3 floors up with no lift should be mentioned up front, even though this is not uncommon in London and we happilly managed. The bathroom and toilet fittings were poor and old, some mould present, shower heads should be lime scaled. The pillows and sheets could be of better quality. There were no coffee pods provided despite "coffee making" being mentioned in the website.
