Újbuda Rest Apartment With Air Condition and Balcony

This apartment exceeded our expectations. The owner was very responsive and replied quickly whenever we had any questions. The apartment was very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well stocked — it really had everything we needed for our 4 nights stay. Having a balcony was an added bonus. We also really appreciated being allowed to check in early at around 1pm. There were even brochures, maps and information leaflets about Budapest available in the apartment, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was very convenient. Újbuda-központ station is nearby, making it easy to get around Budapest by public transport, and Allee Mall is just across the road, which was great for shopping, groceries and meals. Our first impression of the neighbourhood was a little uncertain, and the lighting in the lobby area was not working when we arrived. However, those initial concerns quickly disappeared. We felt completely safe throughout our stay and had no issues walking around the neighbourhood. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and were pleasantly surprised by how well equipped and conveniently located the apartment was. We would happily stay here again.

One practical point to note is that there are about eight steps to climb before reaching the lift, which may be worth considering if you have heavy luggage or mobility difficulties.

The location, the furnishings, the style of the apartment. The bed was comfy, the flat was cozy. I appreciated the coffee machine and capsules, but decided to buy my coffee at the nearby bakeries instead. I also loved the balcony to the inner yard, was lovely!

The crying neighbor baby and the big cheap open bottles of shampoo and shower gel. New ones (even tiny packages) would have made a better impression. I found short dark hair in the bathtub at my arrival. Mine is not like that.

The room itself was very nice, small little kitchen with everything you could ever need and a nice small balcony with table which was pleasant

The building the apartment was in felt very unsafe, the lift felt unsafe and the building reception did not have any lights at all so had to use our phone torches. We even considered staying elsewhere as we felt unsafe, further enhanced by the fact that our room had 3 locks suggesting that it is indeed not a safe building/area. The hot water was also very very limited my gf had to skip a shower as I had used all the hot water in my very quick 5-10 minute shower
