It was such a great homey vibe in the midst of the city. I felt so calm entering this space coming from the hustle and bustle of San Jose, and I'm so glad I booked at Lola's. It is super clean and comfortable and is now my stay when passing through San Jose. Lola herself was extremely kind, and was very patient with me when I asked to practice my Spanish and she was sweet enough to help me with that throughout the check-in.

I had a great stay here. Everything is clean and my questions on WhatsApp were answered within minutes. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I would recommend it to others.

It's done very nicely and the environment feels welcoming. Very short walk from the Tracopa bus station. The kitchen is well-equipped and tidy. The hostel was like a treat after a long trip from Panama. I also had a dorm for myself for that night so I rested a lot. Thank you!
Hot water was at very low pressure.
