An unusual experience and certainly great for one night at least! Set in a small lake/pool next to an industrial area but with open views, decent food and something away from the norm. Location - located just outside Phayao you'll need your own wheels to get here. Specifically when you arrive continue down the road all the way to the bottom and you'll find yourself at the right place! Good for a stop as you drive south or north within this part of Thailand. Rooms - very different but the photos do reflect what to expect. Enjoyed our stay here for the one night, compact space wise, bed on the firm side but everything worked and was new. Nice views in the evening and morning from the roof of your floating pod (even saw a kingfisher). You can feel it when others walk along the pontoon but that's no real issue and you'll also get used to the movement from the bed to the toilet ... Restaurant - onsite for breakfast and dinner. In the evening we had a live singer and guitarist who was good, decent Thai food options available at reasonable prices. Breakfast was the normal selection but again good. This area is all on bamboo stilts which connect to the pontoon .. pretty cool. Car Parking - plenty of space for your wheels here!

Unique idea, fun for one night. Nice atmosphere will be better once further developed.

Unexpected cash deposit of 500bht, not explained why and what it was covering. Refunded next morning without room even checked.

The rooms on the water are lovely. Every room has a balcony at the water and a terrace on the roof. The view is spectacular. The restaurant on top of the water is lovely designed and the food is great.
