Fantastic view of Ambleside and its changing appearance. Facilities were great and there was a good range of equipment available. We had a problem with the microwave but it was replaced within 24 hours of reporting it. Convenient for the town admittedly down a very steep path but our creaky knees managed it.

Fabulous views. Lovely and spacious. Great range of utensils, crockery etc. Comfortable beds. Good to have a parking space.
The entrance atrium is a bit tired and not very clean. The stairway to the flat scruffy and not representing the quality of the flat itself.

Set in the heart of beautiful Ambleside, this apartment is perfect! It has stunning views of the town and mountains, and we didn't need to move our cars once throughout our stay. It is close to shops, walks and restaurants/cafes/pubs. It was easy to find, lovely and spacious, and stocked with everything you might need.
Cleanliness was ok. There were still crumbs under chairs but nothing major. It wasn't a worry to us, however access to the apartment from town is up a very steep hill. The apartment is just above pubs with live music., so over the weekend it is a little loud. However, everything is quiet from 11pm.
