Central London Apartment for family upto 5

Brilliant position on Shaftesbury Avenue, all furnishings were very clean and modern kitchen very well equiped, including coffee maker with pods supplied! Three separate bedrooms, all clean, great comfortable beds (definitely NO bed bugs here!). One shared bathroom with nice cubicle shower, toilet and wash basin. Another bonus was that all bedrooms are supplied with cool air fans - well used with the hot weather during our stay.

We weren't able to get access to the apartment at the advertised 3pm, as it hadn't been fully prepared. Not too much of a problem as there was lots to interest us locally, including China Town. Lots of spiral steps to reach this second-floor apartment, so no good for anyone with reduced mobility.

Location was excellent. It was clean. Neat. And comfortable.

Had to wait five minutes or so for hot water to come through. But not too bad.

Excellent location for the theatre’s, Harry Potter and Beetle juice literally on the doorstep. Lovely staff, easy booking, easy check in and check out. Really nice apartment, small but practical.

I was disappointed there was no milk so we couldn’t have a tea or coffee, even though everything else was provided. Also having to walk up and down two flights of stairs was not ideal. I feel it was overpriced for one night.

Excellent location, next door to China town. Theatres all within easy walking distance and tube stations within 5 minutes walking distance.

Previous reviews state the host was welcoming and early baggage drop off was allowed. We had requested slightly earlier check in which was agreed but when we contacted the host on our arrival she seemed surprised and a little put out that we were early. The apartment is clean but seems quite tired, could do with redecoration.
