Great Location, very good bed, nice environment

Despite the great location, the 5 floors of stairs without elevator made me dread coming back to the apartment every time. We had to buy our own toilet paper, as 2 rolls for 2 people and 8 days of stay was not enough. When we asked for more, the staff said they would not provide more

Sehr gute Lage direkt im Zentrum. An der Metro Serdika. Tram vor der Tür. Altstadt und Zentrum fußläufig. Kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte direkt nebenan. Restaurants und Bar in der Nähe.

5. Etage ohne Fahrstuhl. Besser in der Beschreibung angeben.

Location is within walking distance of the centre of Sofia - not that this means much as there's not much to see/do in the centre of Sofia. Beyond that, the shower was hot and they had one of those Nescafe espresso machines.

I booked 2 nights because it came up as 77 euros - yet once I paid I saw I'd been charged 120 euros!! What? I looked again - OK it uses what certain concert ticket vendors do: dynamic pricing - so the cheapest price for 2 nights is 77 euros and I thought this was what I was paying. Not the case. Never experienced dynamic pricing before on Booking.com and I'd request the website remove it as its misleading. Also - on the 5th floor with no lift: when you've been out all day then have to hike it up 5 floors you don't fancy going out again in the evening. Also: flat gets little natural light, bed is up a flight of stairs, TV didn't work (likely batteries in control - no matter a screen the size of a laptop) .... people, you can find a better deal in Sofia. I'll also note that I started this Balkan sojourn in Athens and that city - with far more on offer than Sofia - offers better priced accommodation and food (+sites and weather etc). Sofia: one of the EU's least lovely capitals.
