    My initial intention for this trip was to give alms to the monks at Wat Shin Wararam, because the abbot there takes several adorable dogs on a boat with him during alms rounds. As a true dog lover, I really wanted to experience that at least once. So I looked for accommodation nearby and found RuenKijja. The photos on the hotel’s page perfectly matched the real thing — absolutely wonderful! The place is peaceful, simple, and right by the river. It’s an ideal spot for anyone who wants to relax and escape the chaos of Bangkok without having to travel far. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay — and for every dog lover who wants to join the monks’ alms round and meet those lovely little dogs.
