About this cabin rental
Tucked away on a private lot, with no neighbors behind it. The house is a modern clean oasis, amongst its natural surroundings. Beautiful mountain and nature view from new salt water hot tub and a small brook runs at the base of the elevated terrain. The house sits on 1.75 acres with a naturally landscaped yard. There are 13 more acres behind the house to explore, and nearby rock city forest and McCarty Hill state forest too for great hiking. Nine mile drive to Holiday Valley for skiing in winter.

House was cozy and clean and offered everything we needed for our stay. Owner was responsive and great with all of my questions. Kids loved playing outside in the snow and down by the creek. Hot tub was an added bonus.

This house is really cute, but the pipes froze and we had no water for most of the day. The house is poorly insulated, the only way we kept warm was having a fire constantly in the fireplace. Shower door will not stay shut which was hard to keep the water from escaping the shower.
One of the can light fixtures in the kitchen was drywalled over which i can see being safety issue, the light glows thru the drywall when you turn the kitchen lights on.
With a few repairs this place could be great!
