A Grade II*-listed early Georgian gentleman's residence, conveniently situated in the heart of the oldest part of Cockermouth, with spacious, versatile accommodation offering seven en suite bedrooms, a characterful sociable dining room and a very large sitting room with seating for fourteen.
We are located right in the town center of Cockermouth with many bars and restaurants within a minute's walk. There is a great variety of independent shops, coffee shops, and a supermarket all within easy walking distance. Wordsworth House is less than 5 minutes walk. The Lakes Distillery is a 10 minute drive. Cockermouth is a great base to explore the Western Lakes. Our nearest train station is Penrith which has great bus links to the town. There are regular buses from a bus stop 1 minute walk away to all destinations in the local area e.g. Keswick, Workington, Carlisle, Maryport, Whitehaven, Ambleside.
The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. The spacious holiday home features a washing machine, a private entrance, a seating area, a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. The unit has 8 beds.
