Our trip started with a hiccup that was self inflicted. Thank goodness for our host getting us out of a scheduling jam (thanks Crystal!). Just make sure you call and speak to the ferry operator before you leave. The ferry ride was the start of the weekend and the team of young men were entertaining and helpful. The host met us at the dock and showed us what our next steps were. My wife and I always rave about our trips but we know it always comes down to the people you interact with. From the ferry, to the VRBO host and everyone we met along the way made the trip. The place we stayed was, as wife described it, "adorable". We're both from a rural past and this place had updated "country charm" throughout. Simple, but well done. No TV but there is Wi-Fi as described. Medium fridge, microwave and Keurig are all for your use. Add in a beautiful backyard on the river where we sat and watched dolphins in the evening.
