This was just OK. We have stayed at HH multiple time in the golf cottages and this stay was the least impressive.
Reasoning:
- used towels on back of Master bath when we arrived
- faint musty smell in unit noticeable each time we walked in
- only a single trash bag on premises
- only a single dish washer pod on premises
- very loose toilet seat in master bath
- numerous lightbulbs out
- only two pillows on bed with pillow cases; rest were decorative and didn’t have clean pillow cases
- overall, just seemed to lack an attention to detail that was evident in other units.
I wanted to rate this a 3* but that heading was “major issues”. While none of these were major,

This Bluffton Cottage was an amazing stay for me and my family. The neighborhood is so quiet and safe. The guards at the gate were very helpful and take their job very serious. You always felt safe from the moment you drove through the gate. The cottage has everything you will need for an extended stay or a short visit. The owner and his team were so attentive and awesome to work with. The cottage itself was clean, had everything we needed, and very charming. Our children loved seeing all the wildlife, especially the family of deer that came to visit every day. It truly became the highlight of our trip. We have stayed in many short-term rentals in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area and this home is at the top of our list. Thank you again for making our stay so special!

Pictures do not do it justice. A lovely cottage with a very private "feel" to it. Perfect location for us as it is across the street from the Hampton Hall Community Center which was the venue for our event.

The cottage was absolutely exquisite and the community was full of friendly people. We were happy with everything being in the center of the fun with just a drive in any direction we were at a new place to explore.
