This is a very cared for property. The host is an artist in the garden and has cultivated a a beautiful green sanctuary. The more you observe in her gardens, the more small touches you notice. She transfers this artistry to her presentation of breakfast. The food is plentiful, delicious and presented so beautifully, as if for a magazine shoot. She also went out of her way, offering us a ride into town, plus to the bus station when our taxi cancelled at the last minute. If you are looking for a quiet place, Tonphoy Homestay is very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very residential, so there are no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance. Having the use of a car would be a big advantage if staying here.

As of February 2, 2026, the address in booking.com is incorrect, so very difficult for taxis to find. We had to use the address of the next door apartment building when ordering a taxi.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room with good airco. Good size bed. Good bathroom. Good wifi. Excellent breakfast. The best ever.
