Palms Manor on Kingswood Golf Estate

The accommodation is located close to the start line of a sporting race, which was super convenient for us. The lay out is open and airy, with lovely views over the golf estate. The kitchen is well appointed, with pretty much every gadget you'd need. The dishwasher came in very handy for a multi-day stay. We loved that its dog friendly and the entire yard is fenced off, creating a safe and happy space for our pups to play and ran around. The hot tub, "chill deck" and braai area were absolute highlights and we enjoyed them thoroughly. The gate which is closest gate to the highway is reserved for owners (ie no entry for renters) and unfortunately, map apps automatically routes here - the owner provided very clear instructions and a GPS link for correct entry gates to use, saving us time and frustration. This property is an absolute delight for a stop-over on a long trip and well resourced for a multi-day stay - will definitely visit again. We forgot our braai basting brush and the owner very kindly found and left it at the security for us to collect.

The bed was a bit to big for the main room, leaving little moving space around the bed.

The roadside bedroom is too small to accomodate two single beds. Blinds in rooms and bathrooms require attention.

Accomodation is at a good part of the city. The house itself is small but all essentials are there.

Two things: apparently the BC of Kingswood is trying to discourage short-timers/non residents. Every time you go in (and out) of the complex you need to form a line and answer every time the same questions ( and show an ID). Proces will take at least 5 minutes every time you go in and out. We stayed for a week so security knew us after 2 days but still you need to do the whole procedure ( see picture). Second: communication with the agent. Communication was without hesitation one of the worst I had in years.
