The location was perfect about 10 mins walk from restaurants and supermarket of Saariselkä.We chose this chalet with this in mind and it’s on the edge of the forest with access to many trails.Its also very quiet and you are surrounded by nature.We were fortunate to see the Northern lights 3 nights running and what a show,with the chalet away from the lights of town the location is perfect,put on your thermals and within a few minutes you are in the forest.The chalet is sooooo nice fully equipped and so cosy,it was really nice to sit in the comfy chairs and watch the world go by,we even had a nice red squirrel visiting.
