Good potential but mismanaged hotel not upto to the brand's reputation

New hotel, nice location on the beach, pool on the room, nice food.

Staff not well trained and no one knows what they are doing. We rarely received the food orders correctly. Check-in is advertised at 3PM but when we arrived at 3PM room was not ready before 4PM. We weren't happy about this after a 16 hour flight.

A beautiful, relaxing, and romantic resort with outstanding service — the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion

The resort was very peaceful and perfect for relaxation. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here, and the stay was truly special and memorable. Everything was very clean and comfortable, with excellent facilities. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options, and the restaurant had a wonderfully romantic atmosphere

Good hotel great potential

The 2 bed room apartment was great. Very clean, lots of privacy, good service, clean rooms, great ocean view

I felt that it has a lot of potential but not everything is up to a 5 stars standard yet. Breakfast was poor, especially the cheese section. Beach front was mostly for view not swim or hang. The private pool was freezing cold and in the shade all day. On the other side the public pool had no shade at all.

Luxury stay at Khao Lak

The Little Shore exceeded all expectations! From the minute you arrive, until you leave, everyone at the hotel wants to make sure you have the best stay possible. The attention to details is just amazing. We’ve stayed in similar price range hotels before and this is one of the few places I can honestly say it was so worth it. Room&bed&pillows: excellent. Breakfast: excellent So many complimentary water bottles in your room that you do not need to carry any water from 7/11. Buggy service: excellent Staff: above excellent. Special shoutout to the buggy drivers. They really were highlights amongst the staff and we were always leaving the buggydrives with big smiles. To finish off, the decor at hotel is so estethically beautiful. Such a gem! I cannot see me staying anywhere else than here, when returning. And it’s not ’if I return’. It’s definetely ’when I return’.

Perfect family holiday. We will be coming back

Everything was so perfect at this hotel. It is stylish and comfortable with every detail thought about. I enjoyed doing yoga lessons in the morning. The pool was perfect. The beach stunning. The food and drinks delicious. The breakfast options were endless with a make your own fresh juice station and pancake machine. The staff were all so helpful and kind. I had a filling fall out and they arranged for me to go to a good dentist on the same day. The kids club was clean and unusual. There is also the use of the sands hotel next door with a big water park and kids activities where you could sign them in for several hours. Overall it is one of the most enjoyable family holiday experiences we have ever had and will be back again. Oh and the music was also great with Joy and her partner. Thank you all at Lottle Shore for such a memorable stay!

The property was beautiful the facilities were clean and in good shape, the room was beautiful!!! the service was extraordinary, the breakfast was delicious and the with variety of options. We enjoyed every moment at the hotel and we are looking forward to the next time we will arrive again!

The pool in the room isn’t warmed and if you taking the regular room which located on the first floor most of the time there is no sun and the pool is too cold so unfortunately we couldn’t used it, it should be noted to guests which planning to take such room. This is the only reason why we gave 9 and not 10

The prefect hotel

Everything. The staff was the kindest I ever encountered, doing their best to fill any request or need. The location is great with the addition of hotel shuttles from your room to the main street. And the hotel itself- wow. Beautiful room, beautiful beach, and remarkable breakfast.

I never grade 10 on booking because there is always a room for improvement. Not in this case. The perfect hotel, no doubt.

Heaven on the beach

Beautiful. Very ‘the white lotus’. Hotel only open 1 year so in very good condition. Clean. Modern - fully equipped tv and sockets (Netflix, USB/C etc). Great swim up bar. Breakfast had yoghurts fruit cereal pastries eggs bacon sausage then a variety of non breakfast items like Asian dishes. Something for everyone. Bar is not expensive but didn’t try food other than breakfast.

Could install some steps to the beach, currently just a mound of sand to climb down. Wasn’t able to arrange late check out (extra 2 hours) even though it was low season and hotel had approx 10 other couples staying there. Neither thing would stop me returning.

The staff were fantastic, special shout out to Nescafé, Jerry and the hotel manager, Vantas, they couldn’t do enough for us. The pool was lovely, felt at times like we had the place to ourselves and the complementary upgrade was such a lovely surprise.

Breakfast was lovely, however, we felt there was limited choice. Also, there didn’t seem to be a standard, turn down service in the evening, we got it on the first night then not again the rest of our stay.

Bests stay at Liitle Shore

The personal treatment, makes you feel like you are the only guest at the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the food was great! I really likes the club car services and the cooperation with The Sands hotel. We were staying with a 1 year old baby, and this hotel was a good choice as it has a nice kida club and we could have used the Sands kids club and pool fqcikitiea as well. Very recommended.

Fantastic hotel and staff

Wow! What a stay that was! 6 of us stayed for 10 days, with 4 of us in the 2-bed family suite and 2 other adults in a double Sea Side room. Just amazing from start to finish. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel so incredibly welcome by all the staff. Seamless check-in, then buggy to the room and given an overview of the hotel and also our rooms. Beds were incredibly comfortable, rooms clean and the view with your own pool... just sensational. Hotel had clearly listened to feedback since opening last year: more loungers around the pool and hotel sandy area, plus you can now access the beach (though proper steps down would be better rather than sandbags). Breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly ordered eggs as well as 'make your own juice' area. Didn't eat dinner there as we preferred to wander up to the high street, which is full of restaurants (less bars than I expected though), or down the beach. Gym was excellent and never overcrowded. Also had massages at the spa, which though more expensive than those on the high street, was well worth it for the overall experience. Special mention to the staff, including Tea, Nescafe, Tom and Jerry who knew our names after about 10 minutes and always entertained us whenever we saw them or they gave us a lift up the road. Fantastic hotel. Book it. You will not regret it.

Entertainment is very limited (we had a two person band) and not particularly good. That, plus food and drinks being more expensive than the high street, means the hotel is very empty once the sun goes down.

Great hotel, lovely stay

We loved our stay here. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect, large bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living area. Having our own pool was great and it got the sun most of the day. The main pool area was also lovely, with a swim up bar. Breakfast had lots of choice. The hotel is in a great location near to many bars and restaurants. A buggy will take you from the hotel up to the main road

The only two negatives for me were 1) the sunloungers by our pool were under a built in shade. We wanted to be in the sun and the fact that the shade could not be lowered was annoying. This seems to affect very few rooms as far as I could tell (most have soft shades which can be removed rather than a permanent structure like ours had) and 2) people reserving the best sunbeds at the pool and then not using them for hours. Not the hotels fault but they didn't do anything to discourage it.

A great place to spend on vacation

Impressed with spacious and beautiful room furnished. very big and clean bathroom. My wife enjoy a stunning sunset view from our villa which access to the beach. Great food (I had try dinner at Thai Restaurant which staff tell the story of every dish with beautiful presented) Breakfast are variety and delicious.

I recently stayed at The Little Shore Khao Lak by Katathani for my vacation, and I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I was impressed by the warm welcome from the reception staff. The room itself was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Hotel's breakfast offering a variety of delicious options especially a juicy "Moo Ping" (Thai-style grilled bbq pork skewers). The hotel's location was also perfect for exploring Nang Thong Beach another popular beach in Khao Lak by walking distance. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to other travelers.

During soft opening some area and facilities are undergoing final touchs, you will see workers bustling around. However, I still have a pleasant time at the hotel, despite the final touches being done. I've noticed a significant delay in the service at the pool bar.

A little oasis of calm, comfort and service in Khao Lak

The hotel has only been ‘soft’ open for a few days and although the reception area was not completed, this in no way detracted from the great beachside location. Our pool villa was full of light, with contemporary furnishings and a super comfortable bed. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and always helpful, although a little more English would be perfect. We shall be back for longer next time

We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Shore Khao Lak. The resort is brand-new, so everything was very clean and sparkling. The staff was very professional and helpful as well. The room was spacious with lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was served as a buffet with many choices and it was all very delicious. And you can't beat a view of the ocean as you enjoy the food! The hotel also has a fabulous Thai restaurant called Param Para where we had dinner. Every dish at Param Para is beautifully presented and is based on a story from Thai mythology. When each dish is delivered to the table, the restaurant staff tells the story behind the dish. We learned a lot about Thai culture that night!

I was very confortable on full day , like in paradise

The staff is so nice , very polite and very easy to understand what you want .. the room are very comfortable , we took the one in front of the sea with a double swimming pool , I never saw that it’s very luxury , the jaccuzi is so big with a a incredible sun set in end of the day , the sun get totally orange and yellow , the special romantic dinner recommended , very testy
