I don't typically write reviews, but since the others I saw for this property seemed a litle meh, I decided to share my thoughts. We vacationed w/another family as a birthday gifts to our 8yos. The house was exactly as described. Very clean. Furnishings and overall feel was rustic, in a good way. The hot tub was awesome. Perfect size for our group of 6. And the house was close to everything we needed. As advertised you do have to bring your own linens, but they had blankets and pillows- so you only really needed sheets and towels. The house dud have a couple rolls of toilet paper as well as paper towels. The kids spaces were great! Our 8yos were more than happy to chill in the bunk room, game room, and reading nook while the adults hung in the main living space. We saw lots of deer which everyone loved! We did notice a small issue with one of the toilets when we arrived, but it was handled/ fixed immediately. The only other issue we ran into was on the last day, we didn't have directions to the trash drop spot, and could've reach the contact. That said, we packaged everything as best we could and lett it for the cleaners - and I haven't received any requests for additional payment for thta- so no issues there. Overall our group agreed it was a good stay in a good spot. Couple of small notes- there were no hand towels or bathroom floor mats (that we could find) and no place to hang towels next to the the hot tub. There's a deck- but it snowed the weekend we were theT

This house was the perfect size for our small family with 5 adults and 2 kids. There were 3 bedrooms (one with bunk beds) and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom had its own TV, which was convenient. The kids were able to enjoy the hot tub at least once because, unfortunately, the weather was too cold. But we were able to see deer come up almost to the house. Nice, relaxing place to stay for sure!

This property is fine if you are looking for a place to spend the night between outdoor activities. However, if you are counting on everything working, you'll be disapointed. The hot tub is very clean and nice. It's great to be in a very quiet community where there appears to be a lot of respect for one another. The wildlife was great to see up close, many deer and even a few black bears were wandering around the woods near the cabin. Here come the BUTS: If you are hoping to stream a movie at the end of a long day outside, you are rolling the dice. The internet is sketchy and went in and out often. They do have a DVD player, so maybe pack some just in case. The dishwasher is also tricky. If you run the microwave, it trips the breaker to the dishwasher. Not to mention that the control panel for the device is covered by the counter top, making figuring it out tricky. Why complain? I don't want to do dishes on my vacation. The clothes washer/dryer. This is needed and was frustrating. Not wanting to cross contaminate the hot tub from the lake or river swimming, I planned to wash the bathing suits. Washer stopped and started until it just stopped altogether. While the dryer turned on, it didn't have hot air or drying capacity. The plus, the property manager was VERY KIND and accomodating. She did give me a small refund to address this issue, but this still left me going into the laundry mat in Blakesee. Experience left me frustrated, no one wants to be frustrated on vacation.
