No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 7 vehicles.
Dock details: This home has a private boat dock that guests can tie their boats up to at the cleats. Please be sure to bring your own ropes and boat lift and owners private boat is not for guest use.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Just came back from a week at The Rusty Nail. great location and fenced in yard which is hard to find in Deep Creek. We rented a boat for a few days so very convenient to have our dock right out back! (All docks are floating… so unfortunately kind of impossible to sit and have a lake view) there is no flat spot to sit by the water or be able to walk or swim in… just the pathway to the pier. Huge great house- TONS of kitchen storage and closets. Regular drip coffee. Filtered water fridge. An extra fridge and extra freezer in the mud room. Great loft area with poker table. Basketball game in basement. Plenty of room for fam of 13:) Negatives are- def needs a deep clean- things haven’t been scrubbed in YEARS(bathrooms) grimy.- Hot tub runs SUPER hot-temp not correct (Mng was notified of all of this… not corrected while we were there.) -Washer doesn’t work… agitator is broken so couldn’t wash clothes or towels.-Sauna is broken- notified them on day 2… no one ever came out. -back yard has never been mowed- so not possible to play any games out back…. Only good for the dog.-bears are around!! Twice they broke off the locks on the bins and tore apart the trash(hit a few houses on the street)) hit a few houses on the street.Management did send someone out to repair the locks… Not something that can be controlled but a heads up that they wonder at night:)All in all a great big house and perfect location… but outdated for the price

House was great for multi family and pulling up a boat. It had everything thing we needed for young kids, however the rental company vacasa was a pain to work with. We had very minor issues like tv and they kept claiming the local person would reach out… then we had a bear issue with trash where the bear had ripped open the door the day we got there and trash was everywhere. We sent it to vacasa and they again said a local person will reach out. The next day my husband went out and cleaned up all the trash and put it in the other cans that had the bear lock still on it. I kid you not an hour later we took trash up the hill and the bear and ripped the door off again. We called and messaged them about the issue and again “someone local will be calling you” I won’t be renting from a vacasa rental again but the house itself was great.

The location and space for the amount of people staying was great. They advertise a sauna and the door to the sauna was locked. The communication to get ahold of rental company was very difficult even with a leak that was getting worse in the basement and we were trying to let them know.
