In the summer, the nearby historic Angelner railway offers Sunday sightseeing trips through the picturesque countryside to the nearby villages. The view of the Schlei with the so-called “Brückenkino”—as the spectacle is known here when yachts waiting to pass circle around—is always a treat. On some days, the view of the Schlei may be partially obstructed by museum railcars maneuvering.
