Situated just five miles east of South Fork, and just a stone's throw from the Rio Grande, this scenic retreat offers an ideal retreat to indulge in year-round recreation. The natural foliage presents an ever-changing backdrop throughout the seasons, and the private outdoor area sets the stage for leisurely home living. Enjoy effortless access to gold medal fishing a few blocks away on the Rio Grande. Play a game of golf at Rio Grande Club & Resort (just under five miles away), then head into town and grab a bite to eat from one of the many local restaurants. Wolf Creek Ski Area is only 23 miles away, perfect for winter skiing adventures.
At home, fire up the gas grill for a barbecue on the deck, relax in the hot tub, or head inside to cozy up around the fireplace for some casual downtime in the living room. The full kitchen is equipped for home cooking. Additional perks include free WiFi and a private washer/dryer.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Loved all the great amenities and close location to downtown south fork. Full kitchen with almost everything you could need. Good selection of beds . One that is too hard, one that is too soft and one that is just right.. full setup for kids and dogs. Very friendly. I would definitely rent again

We had a great time, house was perfect for family of 6, plenty of space with all our ski gear, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for a home away from home.

A beautifully decorated mountain home: exactly what you'd want for ideal ski vacation lodging. Pros: Interior was cozy and welcoming. Everything we needed for preparing meals was available, including a grill. Plenty of space. Bar was awesome. Home was easy to locate. Quiet location and in walking distance from the river. Large tv in family room; tvs in all bedrooms. Two of the three beds were comfy. Loved the hot tub.Cons: Some damage from prior pet guests, but nothing that impacted the stay. While it was fairly clean, we did have some allergies to the pets, especially in bed. Could use some more attentive cleaning (ie, closets had items on the floors that didn't belong there, top of family room fridge was dirty, lots of hair under sofa, all drawers and cupboards throughout house had either dirt, crumbs, or dog hair in them, including in the kitchen). Rugs had been left in the wash machine by cleaning staff. Gaming system was missing, one of the sofa leg rests was stuck in the up position, and the mini fridge (wine fridge?) in the kitchen wouldn't turn on. We stayed in March when it was just warm enough to want to spend time outdoors, but outdoor areas needed cleaned and there were no tools for cleaning up the area (broom, rags, etc). We really liked this home, with a little TLC it would easily be 5 stars. However, we also have never stayed in a pet-friendly place and it might be exactly as expected for someone with pets!

The home had plenty of space and all the amenities were well stocked. We enjoyed having a wood stove for warmth and ambiance, the extra family area which provided space for a few of us that had to work some of the time, and plenty of counter/dining space to make our holiday meal.
The location gave us great access to hiking and a couple days at Wolf Creek ski area. All together it was a fantastic experience.
