Mountain Majesty: 15-Acre Luxury Retreat in Crested Butte
Welcome to our exquisite 4000 square foot 4-bedroom, 4-bath + den mountain retreat on 15 acres that promises an unforgettable getaway for you and your group. Nestled in the heart of nature, this peaceful oasis offers breathtaking views of the mountains that will leave you in awe.
Imagine walking through the front door of this exquisite Crested Butte retreat, nestled on a sprawling 15-acre lot adjacent to the National Forest. The first thing that greets you is the undeniable sense of elegance and attention to detail. Hardwood floors stretch out before you, leading you into the heart of the home.
As you step further inside, you'll find yourself in the open-concept living space, seamlessly connecting the kitchen, dining area, and living room. This space is designed for both comfort and entertainment, making it perfect for gatherings with family and friends. The gourmet kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream, featuring granite countertops, a gas stove, state-of-the-art appliances, and settings for up to 14 guests. Whether you're preparing a feast or a casual meal, this kitchen has everything you need. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room with magical views across the valley and a dining table for 8. There are also 6 bar stools at the island.
The living area invites you to relax and unwind. Two large sofas frame a 66-inch flat-screen TV, creating a cozy spot for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows. A gas fireplace adds a touch of warmth and ambiance, perfect for those cooler mountain evenings.
On the first floor, two inviting bedrooms await. The first is a master suite, complete with a king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and in the private master bath a luxurious Jacuzzi tub. A separate steam shower offers a spa-like experience, allowing you to truly unwind after a day of adventures. The second bedroom boasts a king bed and breathtaking views of the western landscape, including the majestic Whetstone Mountain. There is a semi-private bath across the hall.
Finishing out the main level is a dedicated laundry room off the mud room, ensuring you have all the conveniences of home during your stay. Step outside onto the new large deck, where a gas grill beckons for outdoor cooking and dining as well as an 8 person hot tub. Take in the sweeping mountain views or keep an eye out for elk and mule deer traversing the hills.
Venture to the second floor, where two additional bedrooms and bathrooms await. The second master suite is a sanctuary unto itself, featuring a king bed, another flat-screen TV and private bath with shower. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and two twin beds, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. And then there's the den – a haven for kids and adults alike. With two trundle beds (sleeps 4 total), two queen sleeper sofas, and another flat-screen TV, it's a space designed for fun and relaxation. These 2 rooms share a semi-private bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Throughout the entire house, high-speed wireless internet ensures you stay connected.

To drive to town from the house is 9.5 miles and takes about 15 minutes and it is 12 miles to the ski area and takes about 20 minutes. There is a free bus in CB south and is about 7-10 minute drive.
Please note that during the winter months, 4X4 or AWD vehicles will be needed for access. The driveway is large enough for several cars, ATVs, or trailers.

We had 12 ladies in our group. We appreciated the early check in of 2:00 so that we could get settled and then out for dinner. We cooked our dinner for the second and third night and were very happy with the way the kitchen was stocked. Plenty of room for dining. Sleeping arrangements worked out well. All of us had a great time and are seriously thinking of doing it again next year.

Our family couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The house met all of our expectations. We had a couple of minor fixes that required the PM team and they were quick to respond and got everything fixed quickly. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to CB.

We had an absolute fantastic stay! We saw lots of wildlife right from the house:deer, elk, fox and chipmunks. Our daughter got married in Mount Crested Butte so the house was perfect for everyone getting ready. The views in this area are breathtaking I would recommend to anyone. I also left an important item behind and was notified immediately and was able to make arrangements to get it back to me.

This is a relatively new build, that is very spacious, but still feels a bit unfinished.
Pluses: Lots of space. Updated appliances. Steam room and hot tub. Gorgeous views.
Minuses:
The parking area and walk to the door was a giant mud pool: very difficult with kids.
The water from the tap has softener in it and gave us stomach issues. The water from the fridge smells. Bring bottled water to drink unless the owners tell you that something has been fixed.
The fireplace was not working. We were told literally less than 24h before check-in, and as we were already on our way to Crested Butte. Negotiating about that with the property manager felt like being bullied. It required arbitration from VRBO and made our check-in immensely stressful.
There weren't enough comforters and blankets for all advertised beds nor enough hot tub towels for all guests. Max occupancy numbers need to be lowered, or more blankets and towels should be provided.
A dust pan would have been nice as well.
