Chateau Camponac

Sacha and Claude look forward to welcoming you to their traditional organic vineyard near Bordeaux. From the winery, you can explore the entire region, from Bordeaux to St. Emilion, the Médoc, and Arcachon. Our 120 m² Provençal guesthouse features a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and three bedrooms. The Château Camponac winery welcomes you to a hilly setting surrounded by vineyards, 1.5 km from the village of Bourg. At your disposal are 2 bicycles for shopping or exploring the region, a marked jogging trail, golf clubs, a jeu de boules court, and a natural swimming pool.

The Accommodations
Three bedrooms, each decorated differently, including 2 with queen-size beds and one with a double bed. Large shower, separate toilet and sink, Provençal-style decor featuring many antiques. The kitchen faces east-west and is open to the dining room, with the living room adjacent. It is equipped with a dishwasher, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, electric kettle, 4 glass-ceramic cooktops, oven, and refrigerator.
A table for 4 people is available on the patio/garden. However, you have access to the entire property, which features numerous resting areas, a bocce court, a dartboard, bicycles, a natural swimming pool, and marked hiking trails...

Guest Access
Coming from the north on the French highway via Blaye, you’ll drive through the Gironde countryside, which ends in the middle of the vineyards, before reaching Château Camponac. Enter “Château Camponac” into your phone’s navigation app.
Coming from the south on the French highway, take the Saint-André-de-Cubzac exit, then follow the national highway for 12 minutes.
We are 45 minutes from the Bordeaux airport or train station.

In the gîte, you’ll find a guide to proper conduct, including rules for using the pool or bicycles, for example.
You’ll also find a QR code there with all the information about restaurants and sightseeing in the city and the surrounding area.
We love to cook and offer Provençal meals and breakfast at the winery. Upon request, we’d be happy to prepare a dinner for you amidst the vineyards on the estate.
Wine testings and wine purchases are, of course, available.
