Great open house with a beautiful private garden. Would keep the doors shut if you are concerned about mosquitoes or bugs. Loved chilling in the garden and watching birds.

What a beautiful, peaceful finca! Everything was lovely during our stay. Fresh flowers greeted us, and all the main things one would need for cooking were there: coffee machine, pots/pans, silverware. The washing machine and clothesline worked for us. The best part of this stay are the hosts. Don Eddy took us on a lovely horseback tour of the farm, where we sampled many fruits, sugar cane, cacao. We even saw a sloth and a howler monkey. The water buffalo, Solomon, is a cutie and very friendly. 10 minutes drive into town was easy, and we enjoyed the peaceful community of Agua Azul. The a/c made sleeping very comfortable, and the open air was great for us.

The property was a bit difficult to locate due to not having cell service in Costa Rica but once we got there everything was so perfect! We loved the open air feel and the fact we were still able to have A/C in the bedroom. Hearing the sounds of nature surrounding you was so peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. Make sure you spend some time with Ulises learning about his beautiful farm. Thanks for everything!! We hope to come back to this perfect place one day. Pura Vida!!
