The Space:
Beautiful, unique 4-bedroom 3.5 bath in a quiet residential neighborhood on Lake Dunlap. Direct and exclusive access to the widest section of the lake. Wonderful patio and covered deck area are perfect for relaxing and offer unmatched water views to enjoy by the propane fire pit. A great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or your morning coffee. A gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating are also provided. The unique layout and spacious rooms are ideal for family vacations. Just minutes from New Braunfels Downtown area, Gruene & Schlitterbahn. Spend the day on the lake and use the 2 kayaks provided for your enjoyment. Or play cornhole or ladder ball while enjoying the fabulous lake view. Fenced in yard for your fur friends! 2 dogs under 40 lbs. allowed. $25 per day per pet.
The open concept kitchen and oversized doors and windows allow guests unobstructed views of Lake Dunlap. Unwind in the comfortable living room with Wi-Fi, large flat screen Smart TV and lots of seating areas with games for those family nights or rainy days. Fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. Take advantage of the stove top range that opens to the bar top dining area and views of the lake. The dining room, just off the full-size kitchen, can seat 6 guests for a fun morning brunch or an intimate evening dinner.
The master bedroom has a king bed, Smart TV and en suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub and walk in shower. The master has French doors that open to the porch and lake views. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with an en suite full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. The guest bathroom is conveniently located off the kitchen/living area with a walk-in shower. The upstairs loft has 2 queen beds, Smart TV, doors opening to a small patio overlooking the lake, and a half bath. All bedrooms have Smart TVs. Washer and dryer available. This property has room to park 4-6 vehicles in the driveway depending on size. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property.

This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. The house is on the water and has regular pest service, but an occasional bug may be spotted. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1,500.

This lakeview home has amazing lake views. I really enjoyed waking up early each morning and watching the sunrise. The propane firepit was great for making smores and the 2 kayaks, ladder golf and cornhole were enjoyed by all. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. It even had a crockpot for our New Year's Day chili. The only negative I could think of is the water pressure in the main bath shower. Other than that, this place is wonderful and I highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay for my daughter’s graduation from Texas State! We enjoyed our family dinner outside on the deck and really enjoyed the fire pit! It took us awhile to figure out the stove top, but we got it! Beds were comfortable but needed hotter water in the master shower. Being right on the water was nice. The laundry room could use some cleaning but over all experience family had a great time. The front piece of yard was great for our two little dogs. We would stay here again.

The location of this home is beautiful and the outdoor space is amazing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our family of 7 adults and one child. It has a large kitchen that has all the amenities needed.However, we were not pleased with the management company. It started with a text from the company--not Vrbo. I didn't realize that the communication would come from a third party and not Vrbo. The text was confusing and I was suspicious because it had a different address from the property we had booked. The house was not clean. There was a layer of dust and dirt on the dishes-so much so that I needed to run them all in the dishwasher before using them. The floors felt gritty on our feet. We arrived in the afternoon and were excited to use the fire pit while we sat outdoors, but the propane tank was empty. Although being told we might need to refill the tank for the grill, we assumed the fire pit would be ready to use since we paid for the use of the porch and house.The lack of dishwasher pods and garbage bags is laughable. We stayed 4 nights and were given 2 dishwasher pods and 2 garbage bags. We were asked to run the dishwasher before leaving. Please leave enough pods to actually do that.We tried to watch a movie on the "smart TV" using our own signin on the streaming services, but it is limited to one user, so we weren't able to login and watch what we wanted.Finally, the many rules and potential fines posted throughout the house to made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. So, I again say that the house was fine, but we were not happy with the cleanliness, the lack of basic supplies, and the communication from the management company who operates this home.
