Alpine Lakeview 9A is a self-contained three bedroom apartment on Panorama Place, Queenstown, offering stunning lake and mountain views and a large private deck that sets it apart from most holiday accommodation in the region. Sleeping up to five guests, it is ideally suited to families, friend groups, or couples travelling together who want a central Queenstown base with genuine outdoor living space.
The deck is the defining feature. Wrapping around the front and side of the apartment, it faces directly out to Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables, giving guests an expansive private outdoor space from morning coffee through to evening drinks as the alpenglow settles over the mountains. Few self-contained properties in central Queenstown offer this combination of views and outdoor space at this level.
Inside, the apartment is comfortably and fully equipped. Three well-sized bedrooms, one ensuite and one main bathroom, and an open plan kitchen and living area that flows naturally out to the deck. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly, a genuine advantage for longer stays or groups who prefer to eat in after a day on the mountain or out on the lake.
The location is one of the best in Queenstown for walkability. The town centre, lakefront, Steamer Wharf, Queenstown Gardens, and the gondola base station are all within easy walking distance. For day trips, Arrowtown is a 25 minute drive, Coronet Peak ski field approximately 30 minutes, and The Remarkables around 40 minutes.
Alpine Lakeview 9A includes free Wi-Fi, dedicated off-street parking, and its own external access. It is available for direct booking through QT Luxe Stays.
A one-off service fee of $201 applies per stay, covering professional cleaning and premium linen.

The view is great but seems like almost anywhere on the hills in Queenstown would be. I emailed our host before booking to ensure that both bedrooms had at least queens. He assured me that they had recently changed out the double for a queen in one bedroom so that both had queens. In fact, they had not so one was a queen with a gorgeous view and one was a double with no view. The third bedroom was a twin bed that was only appropriate for a dressing room (no closets or dressers in 2nd bedroom so thank goodness). The website indicated that there was a hot tub. There was NO hot tub. Despite turning on heat in all rooms, it was freezing. The unit sits above the garage which apparently has no insulation so the floors, especially in bathrooms with no carpeting are like standing on icebergs. The sink in the primary en-suite bath is so small that you end up washing your feet when you rinse your face. This problem could be avoided by the presence of a couple washcloths. Finally, I had booked for 3 nights and got confirmation of same several months ago. The day before arrival the host confirmed for only 2 nights. I was terrified that we would have to find something else at the last minute. I texted the host and he said he could add a night and immediately charged me for it. Don’t understand why this property got 10’s. The view is great but that doesn’t compensate for the other issues.
