About this house rental
Quiet, roomy home on an acre of heavily wooded land features everything you need to relax with family and friends. On Mill Creek, just minutes from Solomon's Island and 60 miles from DC, this home features a big dock with deepwater access, a double deck for cocktailing and a wall of windows that let the light pour in. Extensive rehab of kitchen and baths; fresh paint throughout. Fully-outfitted with kayaks, crab traps and steamer pots, dozens of outdoor chairs and amenities that will make any respite or reunion special. House sleeps 9 with little trouble.
The house features an oversized greatroom with a fully outfitted kitchen, a massive dining table and a comfortable living area. Two bedrooms up and a primary bedroom and TV room down. Tastefully furnished but not fussy. Comes complete with beach towels and chairs (and a pass for the neighborhood beach club), board games, BBQ gear and an outdoor Cajun boiler with pots for all those crabs you will catch from the dock. Bring your rods, there are plenty of fish around, and a pile of nets, minnow traps, etc. to keep the kids busy. Indoors, you'll find upper-end furniture, good wifi, even a closet full of rain gear should the weather go foul.

The hosts provide everything you need to take advantage of the wonderful area of Lusby! The house is perfect, the private dock is a great place for all sorts of activities.

Our 4 day trip to Lusby, MD was one that we will not forget. Your home exceeded all our expectations! Our family of 7 felt very comfortable and not a single person had a negative thing to say. (Which doesn’t come easy with 2 teenagers!) The entire home was well equipped and stocked, particularly the kitchen. Between the kayaks, crab pots, dock, (the amazing AM/FM radio in the living room) the expansive decks, the two living areas, the abundant charging/docking stations, we never found ourselves in need of anything. The beds were clean and extremely comfortable. The Alexa thermostat was awesome and easy to use. It was just an amazing experience through and through. We look forward to coming back next year! 5 stars for sure!!!
