Welcome to Lake Escape’s Sun-Kissed! Sun-Kissed may be small in stature but it's mighty in comfort and beauty! This gem has wide open water views with magical sunsets. The house is decorated in mid-century modern but has all of the conveniences of today.
This charming home on the shores of Lake Norman features 3 cozy queen bedrooms on the main level, each designed for a peaceful night's sleep with soft linens and snuggly comforters. The main level also features a full bathroom with all of the fluffy towels you need, a compact kitchen fully equipped with everything you want to whip up a meal, a comfortable living room with plenty of seating for everyone where you can stream your favorite shows on the 58" TV and a dining area with magical views of the lake. Step outside on the deck to sit and enjoy your breakfast al fresco while taking in the Lake Norman's beauty.
Downstairs you'll find a spacious family room, perfect for game nights. It features an air hockey table, pinball, Atari Legends Arcade, Connect4, a 65" TV, a Marshall bluetooth speaker along with a slew of board games to keep you busy for hours. In addition to this "gameroom" there is another queen bedroom and a full bathroom on the lower level. There's also a small office area, in case you need to catch up on work or just want to check your emails.
Step outside onto the back patio and you'll find a fun-filled area with ping pong and lounge furniture, perfect for hanging out with friends and family. You'll also have access to a private dock where you can relax, fish, boat or swim in the lake.

* All Lake Escape homes are dog-friendly and allow up to 3 dogs ($150 per pet fee applies) Cats are not permitted.
* Unlimited, Complimentary firewood is provided.

* Complimentary kayaks, standup paddleboards and lifevests are provided.

We had a great time staying at this house on the lake in Lake Norman! Although I had never been before, the area was beautiful and made for a relaxing getaway. Renting a boat was incredibly easy, and cruising around the lake was definitely a highlight of the trip.The house itself was spacious and well set up for a group. It’s a two-level home, with the bottom level offering direct lake access and a fun ping pong table that kept everyone entertained. We also made use of the fire pit in the evenings, which was perfect for winding down after a day on the water.Inside, the house was stocked with everything we needed—plenty of nice towels, fresh linens, and even shampoo and other toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. It was also just a short drive to nearby grocery stores, so grabbing food and supplies was super convenient. The kitchen came with basic cooking supplies and utensils, more than plenty for basic bbq and regular meal cooking.The only downside was that the bottom level of the house was absolutely freezing. We ended up spending most of our time upstairs unless we were playing ping pong or heading out to the lake. This is definitely user error as I could've messaged or probably figured the AC out, so this is not a knock to the property at all! Overall, it was a great stay!

Although our expectation was sunny days outside by the lake playing in the water with provided kayaks and boards and having ping pong tournaments at the outdoor table, the weather did not cooperate.But this house was set up so well for our party with three dogs, that we extended our stay and were able to catch a couple sunny days at the end of our visit. The neighborhood is quiet, yet very near to restaurants and grocery stores, and other nearby towns to spend time in. The games and pinball machine provided hours of entertainment on the rainiest days.The kitchen is well equipt to prepare meals, although decidedly a one person at a time space.The hosts have tried to think of most things visitors appreciate to make a guest feel welcome and at home: provided firewood,propane, life-jackets of most sizes, beach towels and makeup facecloths, various sized glasses; even dog bowls. It was greatly appreciated that basic cleaning equipment was accessible to clean as you go, as many of the houses we've stayed at overlook this. The baby gates worked well for our party to keep the dogs on the level we were on, and protect our elderly, blind and deaf doggy from falling down the stairs.If there were one addition, it would be to screen off the area under the benches on the raised deck as the dogs continually looked like they wanted to jump through the space. None the less, we all want to return to this home!!!

Sun Kissed was the perfect size for our family of four (2 kids under 10) for the week. Plenty of activities and games that kept the kids entertained. Unlimited firewood for evening fire pits was an unexpected touch that we have not seen at other lakefront rentals. The location on the lake was great with lots of action of boats going by. The property owners were very responsive and helpful throughout. We will certainty look for this property again in future trips to Lake Norman.

The property was easy to find. Great location with lots to do around. The property was very clean. The host are really nice and are willing to help with anything you need. We will definitely come back to this place again.
