Fijne en complete ruimte. appartement is modern en staat momenteel in de steigers, maar dat stoorde ons niet. Zeer mooie badkamer en fijne douche

Ik zou de douche ( zeker omdat deze zo mooi is) graag droogwissen. Maar er was geen ramenwisser.

We were quite excited for our short stop-over in Bremen. Because of our SUV with roofbox, accommodations with private parking options were limited, so we were happy to have found this place. Upon arrival, the street looked beautiful. Grand houses, lush trees. Until we pulled up at our destination. It was fully covered in scaffolding, there were bricks laying around to hold some renovation carpet and sigarette buds were everywhere. In short; the first impression was awful. Even though the interior was exactly like in the photo’s. Now, being sensitive to such things and after a long day of driving, I felt disappointed and immediately contacted the lady through Whatsapp. She responded within a few minutes and offered us a full refund letting us know that we can keep the car in their parking lot even if we would choose a different hotel. Which was nice, but because it was already 19.00, it was hot outside (33 degrees) and we were already tired, we decided to stay the night. This was our own choice, even though they friendly offered us an ‘easy out’. Shortly after arrival, I bumped into the owner of the studios. He was a friendly young man and explained they are renovating the whole building. We had a nice chat and I explained it would make a big difference if they - for the time being - would mention that the outside is being restored and is covered by scaffolding and renovation stuff. Because first impressions are everything and at least you would know what to expect. Personally, I would have probably chosen to stay elsewhere because of it. There wasn’t any construction noise, but it was Friday evening when we arrived, so I can’t tell how it is on weekdays. I don’t however think many people would mind at all, but would still appreciate a little heads up. Very long story short: nice, stylish and clean studio with proper parking in front of the door. Apparently the mayor of Bremen lives just a few doors down.
