The cleanliness and how close it was to all the shops and food places
The kitchen top was a bit loose, and also anytime the heater would turn on the little door in front of it would open
4.0 / 10.0
It was clean and access to the place was easy.
The unit is very old. The appliances need to be replaced. The pots and pans, cooking utensils, all need to be replaced and replenished. The kitchen cabinets are sticky and the drawers will fall out if you pull them too far. The whole kitchen needs a renovation. The pool is closed for the winter. The pier is closed for construction.

Good location, clean room
Ceilings and floors are PAPER THIN - heard every footstep, door, and even conversation from the top floor. Bed was soft, lumpy and uncomfortable

Great location, the room was cozy and clean. Great value fo the money. Location is good, the lake is right there.
Please fix amount of chlorine in the hot tub. It was unbearable, eyes got irritated right away, the swimming suits from while our group was thrown away, because it was damaged and lost colors, the skin was itchy and super dry. I understand that we need to add chlorine for healthy purposes, but I’ve never experienced it in such amount.

Hot tubs where only outdoor

The location is great and nearby lots of restaurants and attractions. The property is well maintained and the location is right near the beach. The unit itself needs a bit of TLC.
The door code did not work upon arrival and we had to go to the front desk to get a spare key. They changed the batteries relatively quickly. The temperature of the unit was only 55 degrees which was very uncomfortable. It should be set to at least 65 degrees when you have guests coming. The kitchen lacked basic cooking condiments which was frustrating especially for the price paid for the accommodations. Also there was no sponge in the unit so how are we supposed to clean our dishes or pots and pans used?

The location is very convenient.
The beach has a lot of algae in the afternoon when it is windy and the waves are rough.
The check in at 4 pm and check out is at 10am. For paying 4 days 3 nights, we pretty much only get time for 3 days.
I would not recommend booking through the Bookings. After I paid for the room and after the free cancellation period, the room price dropped for $400. I contacted the customer service and provided the proof to price match. Bookings customer service said they will review and get back within 24 hours. I never got any response back. Even after I contacted the customer service again, they provided the same thing that they would contact me after 24 hours. I never got any response back nor the price match got resolved. I would not recommend booking from Bookings and I would do it again.

I liked that the lake was so close and everything was walking distance. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect to relax after a long day of walking.
Everything was perfect

Location and private access to lake and beach area.
Old outdated furniture in most units. Smell of old dirty furniture in one of our rooms 323. Broken bed in one of our rooms 114. One of our rooms wasn’t even clean by the time we checked in 332. Tv in living room didn’t work, WiFi was terribly slow or did not work at all 327.

The location was great.
The bedding wasn’t that comfortable. Also many of the blinds were not working so too much light was coming in.

Perfect location, lots of beds for family group.
The parking is a nightmare. They tell you you’ll have two spots but then there are no spaces after 9 pm and they recommend you park 3-4 miles away at the Casino in Nevada for $35 and Uber or bus back. I mean, seriously??? For this much money the parking spaces should be designated. And the manager was extremely unhelpful and rude about the situation. The front desk staff were lovely and sympathetic but the manager was awful. Made me never want to return, honestly. Our friend’s car got towed and it cost us $650 dollars bc we didn’t know what else to do at 1045 pm and no knowledge of the casino recommendation.

I liked the fact that we had close access to the beach. And Safeway was right across the street. Even though we did not cook at the room. We liked that we could travel to Truckee and Carson City as a day trip.
The place was okay. But, it was very expensive for what type of room it was. I thought I was paying for a one bedroom condo or apt. that had a view of the lake or pool. But that was not the case. I had a view of the parking lot and it was a one bedroom apt. but the bedroom was locked and the bed was in the living room so that made it very stuffy. To cramped. Next time I go to Tahoe I will just stay at a hotel it will be cheaper and have more space. The place was clean though.

No complaints. The sauna was ok - not great. All in all - ok.

Had a great experience at Lakeland Village. Should of stayed longer than two days. Property was clean, staff all nice. Had a bear on property that security made clear to keep away and kept all safe. Beach was nice. Loved that we were able to cook and keep some food on hand.
In our short time there we have nothing bad to say. Talked with guests like us and some long term owners who were great and polite for and a great source of local knowledge. We plan on coming back again for longer time soon.

Central location, nice apartment, cozy.
#114 is facing the main road, and the upstairs neighbor's floor needs extra padding, a bit cheaper would be more fair.

We were steps from the lake, pool, and restaurants.
The beds were not comfortable.

Close to the beach.
Dusty, musty and dirty window sills. Dirty ceiling fan.
A screen was missing on the downstairs window. NO AC, and they didn’t make that fact prominent enough on the description. They also made it sound like the unit was directly on the beach which it was NOT. Will never stay at Lakeland or use Vacasa again. Total rip off for $1,700.00

Location was great. Lake access was great.
Our AC unit was having issues. I reported it the first day, it was never fixed but I was told it would be handled. Customer service was lacking.
4.0 / 10.0
Being able to walk 300ft or so to the private beach was really the only highlight of the trip in regards to the property.
Our room was extremely warm when we arrived. It was probably in the high 70's to low 80's outside when we arrived, but our room felt as though it was about 90 degrees inside. It was miserable enough that we were not able to sleep until late at night once we had put up as many fans as possible and let the night air in through the screen doors to cool things down. The small AC unit was not enough to quickly cool down the unit and we feel as though for the price that we paid, the owner should have at least come in prior to our arrival and turned the AC unit on. The posting for the unit also felt a little misleading with our exact proximity to the lake. It still was not far, but I feel as though the posting made the unit seem closer to the lake. Lastly, we lost power on our last day there as we were getting ready to leave. This made the morning of packing and getting ready very difficult and uncomfortable, not to mention how difficult it was to get all of our luggage from the 3rd floor all the way down the the parking garage.

The location was great and the condo was clean, nicely decorated and easy to check in and check out.
The electricity went out on our last day before we checked out

Location was great. Facilities are great for families and lake activities.
No a/c. Hallways were swampy. We were in the main bldg so had a small a/c but it didn’t cool the unit. Upstairs was too hot to sleep so slept on sofa. Supposed to have 3 beds but only 2. Furniture not comfy. Had to bathrooms but small and only 1 shower. Power went out 3 hrs before check out so couldn’t shower, charge phones, use coffee pot or the elevators. Had to carry luggage from 3rd floor to underground parking. Couldn’t check out properly because the auto door to reception didn’t work. Also auto keypads didn’t work so had to prop door open to pack up car.

Heated pool, very hot hot tub, grills on the beach.
No AC in the summer. Arrived and the house upstairs (kitchen and family room) was 81 degrees. We called for extra fans and it was better the rest of the stay. Lake area is not clear and has a lot of waves. Found a few large black ants on the kitchen but nothing too bad Dishwasher would pop open if you didn’t latch it hard. I wish they had done it more like an Airbnb and added some board games.

The location was good, enjoyed the private beach, and free parking was nice.
The room we got did not look like the pic advertised and while it was good, it felt like a downgrade (see pics, the bright one with the brown couches was the ad, the darker room, 227, was what we got). The bed frame squeaked. The ceiling was thin, heard every step taken all day, night, long, I thought they were stomping on purpose. The living room a/c didn’t reach the bedroom and even with the windows open the bedroom was hot. Sure there are pots and pans but no accessories like oil or spices.

Way to many emails/instructions. Reserved Lakeview room. Didn't get that. Had to park in garage. Didn't feel like outdoor Tahoe. Got a parking pass that I had to return to avoid $250 fee. I don't see why they don't provide disposable parking pass. They already ask for vehicle info. Room card key would have been easier instead of a 10 digit code to enter every emnenetie on the property.

First of all our booking images and features were not the same as I approved via booking. Property had one bedroom with one queen bed but as per my reservation I was suppose
To have 2 queen bed in the bedroom. Also we noticed a lot of bugs around the bed in the bedroom also living room rug was full of all
Kind bugs. We complaint to the property manager but instead of helping they asked for pics and offered pest control. I gave them pics but still not help . They wanted to schedule pest control while we still in same property. We did Vacuums all
Rooms , my entire stay I was keep
Cleaning myself. I don’t recommend

Love the property. My family has been coming to Lakeland Village for most summers since 1988. Our condo was excellent, except for the sub par washing machine and dryer. Has a nice mini split HVAC system - wonderful!
Figuring out the maid service, trash service, laundry service was eye opening. Didn’t realize these are now Airb&b type management situations. Very confusing. Not what I expected. Not good for myself as a customer.
Washing machine and dryer situation is ridiculous. My wife had to do laundry each night, pay $20-$30 a night and be in the laundry room late and take valuable family time to do it.
For an excellent condo, very rinky dink! A real shame.

Parking was perfect! Short distance to the unit we were staying in... very convenient. It was walking distance to Whole Foods and restaurants. Having a private beach is very cool and not too busy. The vibe of the property is nice. Love the smell of the pine trees throughout the property and randomly through parking lot... pretty cool. Inside the unit was nice, plenty of towels, ski lodge feel, balcony set up for four people, loft area for my son to sleep and hangout, nice size living room, showers were rustic and nice, and great to have separate rooms. Would have loved to stay longer.
Only a few small gripes. One was that there was some carpenter ants on the wall - not many but close to the kitchen when we arrived. There wasn't many, fortunately. Second was the pan with the non stick (teflon) all scratched up and not safe to use. We had to use the baking sheet to cook the bacon in the oven and nuked the eggs in the microwave. We mostly ate out, so not too big of a deal. Okay, the workout room is a little small for that many treadmills. People can walk around Tahoe and feel better about being outside during the warmer months. Some dumbbells to workout with would have been nice though.

The blender in the room wasn’t working properly, so I called the front desk, and within less than 10 minutes they brought me a brand new blender, still sealed in the box. I really appreciated that detail and the way they handled the situation. Excellent service!
I was disappointed to find several wasps inside the apartment about five of them buzzing around the ceiling. It was especially disturbing at night when we were trying to sleep, and we were worried about getting stung.

It was really pretty, well maintained, and close to the water!
My only critique is that some of the stuff was a small bit worn. One of the dining chairs had the seat/padding unattached, and in the master bathroom downstairs, some of our ceiling drywall was falling down in a corner.

Very nice and spacious. Calm and friendly. Right by the beach. We had early check in so that was awesome.
Unfortunately one of the pool and hot tub was undergoing HOA maintenance but overall still good.

Exelent locaton. The condo is cozy and beautiful
There was no light on the attic (works as a room) and they said that only an electricitian coud fix it. They never fixed it. I had to stay with no light in the place I had all my stuff and slept for four days. Some of the energy outlets of the house would not work either. I received the same answer about needing an electricitian and they were’t ficed during my stay. Unit 500#

The property is actually in South Lake Tahoe so this part of the property is true.
The property we stayed at was misrepresented in its advertisement, claiming to have three beds and an A/C unit. Upon arrival, we discovered only two beds and an overpowering odor. The third-floor location, combined with inadequate air conditioning, made it difficult to sleep due to the heat. The apartment was also infested with spider webs. At $500 per night, this experience was unacceptable and offered poor value.
