Wonderful house with everything you need.

The house was comfortably large and felt spacious. It was well set out with lovely sized rooms, comfy beds and a small garden which was spacious enough for a family with young children. Parking was fine and entry to the house was easy. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

Just a couple of very minor things like no hand towels in the bathrooms and the ground floor bathroom and ensuite bathroom toilet roll holders were loose aiming at the floor.

Good location for where we wanted to be but would not stay again

Location was probably the only thing we liked about this property

Very unkempt, quite grubby. House desperately needs a refurb. Dirty utensils in drawer, dirty oven trays, peeling paint in places, garden a mess strewn with weeds, fencing falling apart, loose patio slabs which could cause an accident, cigarette bin filled to brim with fag ends, broken TV the list goes on.

Very dirty, everywhere. The kitchen was disgusting. Bad smell of mould in all the toilets. We found the black bin almost completely full.

Hidden dirt, cleanliness issues and damp smell.

It looks good at first glance, but it turned out to be very dirty on closer inspection.

The pillows were heavily stained, the whole house smelled damp, there were multiple cleanliness issues (see photos). We arrived in the middle of the night with a child on the first day and therefore we could not leave the first night but it was very uncomfortable to stay. We left immediately in the morning. When we contacted the property they offered to send a cleaning team, however not a replacement of the pillows and I doubt that would have changed the damp smell. I have cancer and would not be able to risk staying in a damp house, which could be a sign of hidden mould. Additionally, if cleaners would have come to get the clean the property, this would have taken a few hours during which we wouldn’t have been able to use the property and it was Boxing Day. When we asked for a refund or at least a partial refund we received generic replies ending in the property deciding that the conversation was done and never replying again. We had to go to another hotel and spent a lot more money than expected.
