Harlequin Cottage

Very stylish decoration throughout. Comfortable beds and sofas. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. Although the weather was not conducive to us taking advantage of the garden, it was very beautiful and the out houses and seating areas are very attractive. Great to have parking. We appreciated the items left for us, thank you. After a long drive and very tired we initially struggled to locate the cottage as its side on to the road and we didn’t recognise anything from the online illustration. For reference to another visitor, the entrance to the close is right opposite the ruined historic building.

The shower over the bath needs a thermostatic control. So little storage for clothes particularly in the main bedroom the coatstand type item provided was useless. Loads of hangers provided but nowhere to hang them. Needs a rail across the alcove perhaps. It was very wet when we visited and there was nowhere to hang wet coats near the front door just another strange hanger thing over a table with the router on. The key box was a bit stiff until we got the hang of it.
