I stayed on two separate nights in summer - before and after a multi-day trek in the Hakuba mountains. Yuuka the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and the place has all the essential amenities. It’s an old building but a lot of the interior has been renovated, which gives the rooms charm and character (I recommend the Japanese-style rooms). Overall I was pleased with my stay and will book here again next time.

Depending on which side your room is in, it was a minor inconvenience that the washing machine was on the other side of the building so you had to walk outside and enter through the other entrance. There was also no dryer, so you had to dry it in your room. At least the washing machine and laundry detergent were free to use.

Me gustó la ubicación, la privacidad de la habitación.

No me gustó que compartía baño con otras personas, eso no estaba claro cuando reservé. El lugar común es muy pequeño, una mesa de comedor y fin. No sabía que era estilo hostel, pensé que era un hotel. No me parecio comodo, que tuve que dormir toda la noche con un caloventor porque sino hacía mucho frio. La cáma era comoda pero tuve que dormir con 4 capas de sabana + frazada + acolchado, manta de polar.
