Woodstock Wow! Apt Close to Belfast City Centre

Very good location and great price for how close to city centre it was. Definitely stay again.

Could do with a wee but of TLC inside and better cleaning prior to arrival.

One sheet of paper towels left when arrived. No answer to a message mentioning that. Very faint lighting (bulbs equivalent to a candle) in bedrooms and kitchen. Only one metal fork and 2 plastic ones, probably used. Unacceptable. Also - non refundable from start. Price jacked up 100% when I had to change dates.

The location was ideal for our needs. We had no problem with parking. The apartment was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the shower/toilet room was excellent. The kitchen area was spacious and well equipped.

The sofas in the lounge area are not very comfortable. We found only one wine glass in the apartment. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke throughout the apartment which may have been coming from elsewhere in the block. Otherwise, no complaints.

The apartment is about 30 minutes walk from town. It has two bedrooms and a kitchen so you can prepare food. The beds were comfortable and clean and the size of the apartment is decent.

Unfortunately the cleanliness wasn't 100% and the maintenance could do with improving. The one bedroom had a tower hanging out the ceiling which was stuffed in a hole, the wardrobe was rammed with Christmas decorations so couldn't hang clothes. Windows and outside windows had rubbish etc on them. The bathroom wasn't too bad but needed a deep clean. The kitchen facilities seemed dirty and wouldn't risk putting anything in the fridge. The freezer was rammed full of frost as well. There wasnt any fans or Aircon in the apartment despite a heat wave and at the cost of the apartment you'd think you'd have one at least. The lack of any food or drinks as well was a bit disappointing as you'd normally get some basics with apartments and aparthotels. It didn't feel as inviting or welcoming as a lot of the places I've stayed at.
