Cenere e Lapilli House

The apartment is absolutely stunning. I could have lived there. A gorgeous living area and kitchen, a double bedroom for us and a separate bedroom for our 9 year old. Air conditioning in both rooms and the living area was welcome surprise. You have a wonderful view of Vesuvius from both the front balcony and the back. The bathroom is also beautiful and the choice of a bath or a shower (a nice big shower) was very welcome indeed. The whole place is charming and very pretty inside. There were plenty of clean towels, extra blankets, an iron, a fridge and all the things you need in a kitchen if you were to cook for yourself (we didn't but it was lovely to store some cold drinks in the fridge). Parking our hire car was no problem and the car was very safe inside the apartment complex. Our host Elena was just wonderful and helpful and welcoming - I'd give her more than 10 stars if I could. There is a nice little coffee shop at the end of the road which is great for a coffee and cake breakfast. The ruins and the main strip is just a short walk down the street.

I liked everything. I would absolutely stay here again.

Die Unterkunft wird mit Parkplatz angeboten, dies stimmt aber nur bedingt, sobald alle Parkplätze in der Wohnanlage besetzt sind, schaut man dumm aus der Wäsche und muss sich in den engen Straßen Pompejis gegen Geld etwas suchen. Enttäuschend war jedoch der Umgang der Vermieterin mit ihren Gästen, nachdem zusätzliche kostenpflichtige Angebote abgelehnt wurden, wirkte die Vermieterin kühl, unfreundlich und wenig hilfsbereit.
