studio is eerder aan de kleine kant, ideaal voor 2 personen, minder geschikt voor 4. Handig om te vermelden dat er niet geparkeerd mag worden in Val Thorens (enkel tegen betaling)

De accommodatie
De boeking werd via Booking.com gemaakt en volledig vooraf betaald op vrijdagavond, voor een verblijf dat op dinsdag zou plaatsvinden. Nadien ontving ik via WhatsApp een verzoek om een waarborg van €500 vooraf te storten. Aangezien dit bericht buiten het Booking.com-platform en in een andere taal werd verstuurd, was het voor mij niet duidelijk dat dit effectief van de residentie afkomstig was. Om zekerheid te krijgen heb ik contact opgenomen met Booking.com. Zij hebben bevestigd dat de afzender wel degelijk de residentie was. Pas na deze bevestiging heb ik de waarborg betaald. Ik vind het ongepast dat een dergelijke waarborg vooraf en via externe communicatie wordt gevraagd. Indien dit standaard is, hoort dit duidelijk en transparant via Booking.com te gebeuren, en niet via kleine lettertjes of een bericht dat slechts enkele dagen vóór vertrek wordt verstuurd.
