Loved the location. We stayed there because of the location approximately 10 miles from Edinboro University. Graduation Weekend

I originally booked property across the street on 11/11/23. On 1/10/24, I was advised that property was double booked. Somehow we were the family without a place to stay. We then rebooked this property. The property was not property prepared for us. When we booked we particularly like the decks and cornhole boards that would be available. The decks were dirty and the furniture covers were filled with water, so not as easy as just removing the covers. We were not aware that we needed to bring extra clothing to clean the decks. The chairs were upside down and stacked in the fire pit so those also needed to be cleaned. The owners claimed that they sent me a text asking me if I wanted someone to come over to clean but we never received. Instead of asking someone should have come over and prepared the property. We had also planned on playing cornhole but the boards were not under the carport in which they were displayed on booking.com. And when the boards were finally there, there were no bags. The description also stated that pets were allowed at no cost, but in an email that I received on day of check in it stated that there was a fee so my dog stayed at my daughter’s house in Edinboro. When I again complained I was told that when owned seen the forecast they thought maybe we would enjoy the day inside. So everyone was inside when my nephew’s 2 year old son found medication and needles in the master bedroom nightstand which led to my sister, nephew, and his son leaving after only a few hours. When I asked for a refund of some of my money, I was advised that I was already given a good deal on this property. I was given the same rate of the property that i originally booked but they somehow double booked. Is that even possible on booking.com ? I advised that i should be given some type of refund because of all the issues and she sent me $50. I was speechless but I didn’t say anything or I would have got nothing.
