The property was perfect. Had everything we could have needed.

Two older couples with two little dogs. The location was great. The host was very contactable, responded quickly and was polite and helpful. The kitchen is well appointed and bright, with plenty of cooking utensils. Being able to access the park and beach through the back gate is excellent. Sporties Tuncurry is a very short walk through the park, has a dog friendly area and serves a good meal.

We had numerous concerns which were messaged to the host prior to writing this review. To his credit, he responded quickly and respectfully, and I have reflected his comments here. Dripping basin tap and shower head in the ensuite disturbed sleep. (Response: “…. They have been fixed”). The toilet flushes in the ensuite did not work properly and a day before we left it was almost impossible to flush. (Response not received). There was mould and grime on the bottom tiles around the shower area, both in the ensuite and the main bathroom. (“Response: The showers and bathrooms are due to be repainted in the coming weeks….”). The small patch of grass was green in the property photos but when we were there it was all just dirt. Thankfully, we didn't have any rain whilst there or it would have turned to mud. (Response: “The grass regrettably has become a victim of the early heat we had in November as well as dogs urinating on it….” …….”watering the lawn constantly has been a challenge”). Apart from that, the outside area was usable and quite pleasant. The house generally is not well maintained. The flyscreen doors had clearly been pawed strongly by dogs and were in very bad condition. (Response: “The main target is families with pets this often brings with it collateral damage which makes keeping up with minor repairs a challenge”). There was thick dust over the TV and cabinet in the living area and a photo provided. (Response: “Not sure about your dust suggestion as the surface and shelving on all furniture is wiped down hours before the arrival of new guests……..We shall endeavour to try harder”).
