Friendly welcome. Very clean. It may not suit everyone but being on the edge of town rather than the centre was perfect for us. It was lovely and peaceful and quiet. Beautiful back garden. Very good value for money.
There was nothing to dislike. At the time of writing, I think there might be some further cooking facilities in the process of being installed in the main downstairs common room with the panoramic windows. I've already recommended this to a family who like to visit Monaghan but whose old family home there is in the process of being sold.

The property was located about a half hour walk from the village but our host kindly collected us from the bus station and later drove us into the village for lunch, providing us with recommendations as to where to eat. The house is situated in a quiet location close to the Rossmore Forest Park so is an ideal location if you enjoy hiking.
