This is exactly what we as a family wanted: a quiet neighborhood, a place to park the car, and a comfortable home. The well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, good toilet, and specially the children's room, exceeded our expectations. Cleanness and attention to detail are things we valued a lot. Things like very good tea selection, shoe rack in the lobby, cute kids hangers, etc - details that matter, not the usual fluff you find in airbnbs, specially the strong Ruhr culture references. The hosts were very accommodating and the experience was very smooth. This is the type of property you come with a car, although we walked for dinner to a nice restaurant nearby (Kolpinghaus Höntrop).

By the description and photos you would not guess that this apartment which seemed to be the upper part of a house, still has someone else living in another upper floor. This person did not make a lot of noise, but everytime the toilet flushed during the night the water pipes would make a lot of noise, which was very annoying. The other less good thing was the fact that the children's room window could not do a complete blackout so in the early hours of sunrise our son woke up earlier than usual (between 6 and 7 am).

Sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieter,die große, komfortable Wohnung, gute Matratzen, großzügiges Bad und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Stellplatz für Auto vorm Haus Ruhige Lage
