A estrutura e a limpeza são ótimas, a localização e a qualidade do mobiliário são muito boas.

O único ponto que ficou a desejar foi não ter nenhum tipo de bebida e comida no quarto/frigobar.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice my room was. For context, I was attending a conference at the Riocentro convention center that is only two minutes walking from the hotel. The convention center is huge and designed to host multiple conferences of several thousand attendees each, so it is a prime business destination. This apartment hotel was the closest hotel from the conference center. Other hotels with international name brands, were in the $200 US Dollars per night range. My room was below $35 US Dollar/night. It was such a large difference that I suspected it might be a "fake entry" on booking.com, but booking.com assured me that the place is routinely being successfully rented. More amazingly, this apartment is in a modern-looking high-rise condominium with its own reception desk, security, and fenced property. The building has multiple apartment hotels rented by different hosts, including some larger Brazilian brands whose rooms sell out for at least twice the price of mine. The apartment is on the 10th floor with a wonderful view of the mountains. I am a very frequent business traveler. I have never seen anything like this for such a price. I kept waiting to find out what the "catch" is. To my very pleasant surprise, there was no catch. I arrived at the building. They had my name at the reception. I checked-in without problems and found the room great! There were only minor issues. For example, one wheel of the office chair in my room kept getting detached. The liquid soup dispenser in the bathroom had no soap. The little corner shelf in the slower (to put soap on) was missing. The Internet password given to me at the reception did not work (although I was able to use a free network from a different hotel in the same building). However, all the essentials were perfect. Comfortable beds, working air conditioning, cold and warm water, clean room/sheets, daily room service, and a few other amenities.

There is nothing that I did not like, but I feel that the host will get more customers if they (i) raised the price a little at least during high-volume international events at the conference center (currently, it is so low that it looks suspicious to outside business travelers who are told not to fall for too-good-to-be-true prices that might be a trap), (ii) give the hotel a more distinct name, if possible (other than just "hotel near the conference center - apartment B", and (iii) create a web presence for the hotel, so that people suspicious who independently look for this hotel on the Internet can actually find additional information online. Maybe a message from the host explaining why it is so low-cost. Otherwise, it may look like some sort of a "scam" to many business travelers, who then opt for other (significantly higher priced) options, which seems like a lose-lose situation for both the travelers and the host.
