I went in the monsoon season, so there were very few people there. It was a great place for peace and quiet. They have a library and beautiful reading area with a meditation/yoga room. I felt taken care of and safe. The GM also made sure to check in on me, which was very thoughtful.
The TV wasn't working at the time, but I was too busy doing other things

The bed/mattress was one if the best I have slept on during my travels thru India. All of the staff tried really hard to please the customers. A+ for their efforts.
The cleanliness of the floors in this property and others I have stayed in is awful. They sweep with a filthy broom/mop; then squirt the floors with something from a spray bottle. Then use the same filthy broom/mop to spread the dirt around. Totally ineffective.

Remote location. Surrounded by rice fields which poses security risk at night. Bathroom fittings are poorly placed. Hot water flow was uncontrolled. Bidet was on wrong side. Food at restaurant was poorly prepared. Good part of the hotel is the staff, which is very cooperative, supportive and always ready to help. It’s probably only chain hotel at Bodhi Gaya, so till competition comes, it may have good time.
