    Choosing Hyatt Place Bodh Gaya was the best decision for my journey. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located, but what truly touched my heart was the extraordinary staff. As a female solo traveler, I felt incredibly safe and cared for. A special and heartfelt thanks to Mr. Ram Kishan, the Security Manager, who went above and beyond by finding and returning my phone after it fell on the road. He is so kind and professional. He even politely declined my reward, showing his pure heart and integrity. To all the staff—thank you for making me so happy. This is one of my great experience. This place isn't just a hotel; it’s a place of beauty, care, and genuine kindness. I will definitely come back soon! 🙏✨

    I have been traveling extensively through Nepal and north India. No doubt that Hyatt is very high standard compared to almost everything else in this area. The interior is fully up to European standards. However, there are a few small gaps where it to some extent feels like it's just an average indian guest house in disguise. One is the fact that the sound proofing is very poor between floors and the outside walls. I tried to set the aircondition in the room to heat which didn't work. I called reception and they said they would send a guy to look at it. He came straight away with a portable heater and said "only cooling". So now I have a small heater by the bed. Fine solution, but at 150$ a night, I expected better. A few of the towels are dirty from old lipstick. I had laundry done at a rate that is approx 3 times higher than other local options, and the quote for transportation by the hotels cars came out about the same level of (over)pricing. I choose hyatt because I needed a few days in the western comfort that I am used to in my home country in Scandinavia, and all in all I feel I got that so pretty satisfied, but I think it does come at a steep premium.

    Besides the room, everything is off. Firstly the hotel is remotely located with construction surrounded, although it is one of the best hotel near to the temple, accordingly to a local friend. The service is so-so and I have issues with the charges upon check-out. The price was higher than what is quoted in Agoda. The spa that was charged to the room were higher than we were told by the staff. As we need to check-out to catch a flight, we pressure the staff to change the amount. In addition, the corridor from the lift to our room was not turn on, so we have to walk in total darkness back to our room, with our phone torchlight. The gym only has 1 threadmill, I decided to go for a run and the threadmill was not working. They asked the guy to repair but after a few hours, they put a sign that the machine is out of order, so I couldn't use it during my stay. I just don't want to go back to this hotel again.
