About this cottage rental

Very large, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful views from every window. Working Cattle and Sheep Farm. New Washer/Dryer, Flat screen TV, High-speed internet, tours of the farm operation. Games and books galore. Back deck with seating for six. Fire Pit! Updated 6 stall horse barn with indoor and outdoor common areas.

The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals.The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable.All in all a great escape from CLT.We will be back!

Awesome views, quiet location, fully updated, comfortable beds, double carport. Abundant wildlife and farm animals. Walking and hiking opportunities. Excess to regional attractions. Correctable problems- locked out upon arrival, difficult to contact host, bad odor in house at times, hot water heater turned off, lacking necessary kitchen supplies, no house rules or instructions. Warning: poor or non existent cell service. Master bathroom sink drains slowly and provided coffee filters didn’t fit coffee maker.

Everything was absolutely great. Brenda and John are amazing people. The property is beyond beautiful. My kids had an amazing time. My family and I will definitely be back.
