About this cabin rental
Nestled in a cove with a picturesque view of Lake Hartwell, this updated retreat provides all of the amenities of home in addition to access to a private double-decker dock where you can cast a line, sunbathe, swim, park your boat, and enjoy the views. The calm waters of the cove are also perfect for swimming and kayaking, yet you will be moments away from the deep, main water of Hartwell. A short boat ride will take you to Portman Marina, waterfront dining, Western Carolina Sailboat Club, or Apple Island. A local boat ramp is minutes away if you choose to bring your own boat and/or jet skis. This home is .5 mile from Stone Creek Cove that offers golfing and weekly or daily family pool memberships.
After a day on the lake, take a short drive to downtown Anderson for a variety of dining options and shopping or attend a sporting event at Clemson University.
Just 21 miles from Clemson University; 13 miles from Anderson University; 54 miles from GSP International Airport; and halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte, this home is in a prime location with access to so much that upstate SC has to offer.
The space
The main level of the home includes a master suite with a queen-sized bed and attached full bathroom, kitchen, an open living room with an attached dining area, washer and dryer, and an attached deck along the backside of the house.
The top level of the home has a second bedroom with a king-sized bed, twin rollaway bed, and private patio; a third bedroom with twin over full bunk bed and twin rollaway bed; and a full bathroom with a Bluetooth speaker built in the fan.
The downstairs of the home is a finished basement that offers another living area with couches, chairs, high-top table and stools, a smart tv, a foosball table, and access to the outdoors.
There is a view of the lake from the back decks to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book, or grill dinner. Enjoy a game of cornhole or toast s’mores around the firepit. The backyard includes a concrete path to the lake and a private dock. The driveway has ample space for parking and a designated spot to store a boat trailer. The home has a keypad lock to offer convenient check-in and check-out.

Plenty of space inside for 7 of us with ample parking to include the boat/trailer. Host was very prompt to respond to questions. Cove was quiet and peaceful, easy access by boat.

I can't even think of a single complaint. Such a beautiful home with every possible thing you could need. Extremely clean, and the game room downstairs is such a fun vibe. The sounds of nature in the backyard was so peaceful. We even got to see deer several times. A perfect getaway. We will definitely be coming back.
