King Charming Cottage - Walk to the River

Location. Original features plus modern conversion. Lovely walled garden.

Bed too soft. Too much email traffic and red tape.

We just spent a blissful week at 44 King Street (KING44 - King Charming), and honestly, it felt like coming home. The shower just great instantly relaxing after a day wandering Fremantle’s streets. Then there’s the bubbly bath… ahhhhh. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped—everything you could possibly need, from proper knives to enough pots to pretend you’re a chef. Step outside and you’re greeted by the loveliest front and rear gardens green, peaceful, and just begging for morning tea. The location is perfect too, an easy, enjoyable walk to a luxury supermarket a fabulous French restaurant that had me practicing my very best “merci,” and heaps of other little gems nearby. If you’re after a comfortable, stylish, character-filled spot in a great part of Fremantle, this place is a gem. We left feeling rested, pampered, and already plotting a return. Highly, highly recommend—five enthusiastic stars! 🌟

Check-in was the only tiny hiccup—Guest Pro Perth seemed a bit puzzled by the Booking.com ways (we’ve all had those moments!), but once sorted, everything else was seamless and spot-on.

Well cared for and equipped. Beautiful home. Felt like a home away from home.
