Fairway Haven

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a wonderful property that more than delivers on value for money. The space was immaculately presented, thoughtfully furnished, and felt genuinely like a home away from home rather than just somewhere to sleep. The location couldn’t have been better, we felt completely safe throughout our stay, which made such a difference, especially in the evenings. Comfort was absolutely top-notch. The beds were excellent, the living areas were spacious and well-equipped, and everything we needed was provided. One of the real highlights was having two bathrooms! It made mornings so much more relaxed, particularly for two people, and added a real sense of ease to the whole stay. Overall, this is a property I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, whether travelling as a couple, a family, or a small group. It ticks every box: safety, comfort, practicality, and genuine value. We left feeling rested and already hoping to return. A heartfelt thank you to the host for such a warm and lovely stay. The care and attention put into this property truly shows.

Some nights were noisy but overall it didn’t bother us. If you are sensitive to noise then perhaps bring some ear plugs!

The host, Matthew was superb, friendly and helpful and professional. And the housekeeper, Vuvu was excellent. Friendly, professional, helped in any way she could and made sure the flat was spotless. She even washed and ironed clothes which was very helpful as I was out all day everyday. It is my favourite flat that I rent in Mouille Point. It meant a lot to have Matthew willing to arrive late on my arrival evening, and for VuVu to be willing to put her hand to keeping the flat organised and clean. I was very well treated. Also the corridors had been painted so the entire complex looked good. Charles the gardener was excellent and always friendly and helpful.

The toilet in the small bathroom still runs and it needs to be fixed. I wish the owners woukd provide a dryer. It is needed.

The location was lovely. You look over a 5 a side football Astro (there is cheering etc when they play which we liked, but some people might not), and a golf course, and you can see the sea from the kitchen window. (The flat is at the back of the building, not on the sea side.) there are 2 bathrooms - one en suite and the other not. This is great if you’re 2 couples sharing.

The internet didn’t work, so we couldn’t work or stream anything on the tv. This was only fixed on our 4th evening. They attempted to fix it sooner, but it didn’t work. there were no plugs in the kitchen sink and , the lights in the kitchen didn’t work. We are staying again next week, so hoping everything will work.
