Central and Scenic Riverside Retreat at Surfers

The apartment was spacious, amazing view from the main room and balcony, full kitchen (although no coffee pod machine yet they provided coffee pods), close to everything you can walk everywhere. The pool was good as well as the spa and the gym on level 4 was awesome. The spa bath in the room is awesome, just don't use more than a pump or two of the body wash as it's very foamy

The road and traffic noise were so loud 24/7, I had to buy earplugs to get any sleep. Siren, loud cars stopping and taking off at the lights, people talking. Unbearable on Thursday to Saturday nights. The aircon feels like it doesn't work in the bedrooms until the morning when it gets colder, barely any airflow in the rooms. Beds felt springy and when I asked for more blankets due to the first night being freezing, they said it would cost $65 to have them delivered as there were none on the premises. It doona on the bed was really thin. Thankfully every other night it was warm due to the aircon only working properly in the living areas. There was a lot of old dust, it needs it deep clean. Also the refil bottles look expensive but were filled with very cheap products. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner
