Renagour Cottage - Farmstay with Hot Tub!

The location was beautiful, with an outlook over the valley and lots of animal life to watch. A great renovation, the beds were very comfortable, good shower and the cottage had a great kitchen with everything needed to cook during your stay. Smart TV, Wifi and some books and games meant rainy days weren't boring. Great communication from the host.

The house was cold on arrival and when we went to light the fire there were no fire lighters, news paper or pinecones and the wood was wet. Despite a 4 day booking, there was only enough firewood for 1 night. There was a heat pump but it struggled to heat the house and we'd booked a rural stay with a fire in the winter as a getaway. It was quickly resolved with a message to the owner who also showed us where to get firewood and to help ourselves, but adequate provisions would have made our stay perfect. It was also quite dusty - lots of cobwebs up the walls.

Long way from the main highway but that’s the point. Worth looking for.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The photos don’t do much justice of what this place actually entails. It is stunning and we will definitely be back.

Maybe on our return the outside bath will be a bit bigger to fit two than that would hit it off as the best and most romantic place.

The place is really beautiful…home location and farm everything is so wonderful and well maintained…

I would suggest ;the restroom could have kept a dustbin for sanitary pads and tissues..
