Perfect location. Ground zero Santa Monica. Half block from train station, Uber and bus. 2 blocks from beautiful beach, Santa Monica pier and Santa Monica Blvd. Lots of outstanding food options with many restaurants and a Trader Joe’s. Very secure building, triple lock access, very clean, well equipped apartment. Lots of natural light and a small balcony.

At least a few vagrants on every block but they don’t bother people. Hey, it’s California, ‘nuff said.

Proximity to Santa Monica attractions, freeway, groceries, and train. Very clean and modern. Good value. Quiet building. Excellent bathroom and shower.

If you need a dark room to sleep, bring a mask - the shades don’t block the outside light well. (Similarly the smoke detector in the bedroom has a motion light, which took some getting used to!) Not a block you want to hang out on - didn’t feel unsafe, but it’s busy and plenty of “personality.” There’s also a big sign in the elevator saying short-term-AirBnB rentals are not allowed so we had some constant minor paranoia when going in and out.
